Re: Problem with Tes Mod Manager
Oke not good to hear.
What are your specs and what Windows are you running?
What you can try meanwhile:
- Perform Windows updates
- Install latest Direct X
- Install latest Net Framework versions

Re: Problem with Tes Mod Manager
I need some help please
I got a non steam version of the game with shivering isles and knights of the nine dlcs
After I installed the game and the dlcs I've let the installers of the offical patches from the nexus site do their thing (shivering isles seemed to work fine; main patch had a little problem but at the end it said : Installation successful)
Then I imported the Unoffical Oblivion Patch into the TES Mod Manager and the little square was green as it should be but when I hit the activate button the installation ends with an error and the square keeps green and doesn't become blue
ERROR :
It may not have been activated completely.
Error:Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt.
(or as I would translate it : Object reference has not been set to an object instance .)
Every bit of help would be appreciated

Re: Problem with Tes Mod Manager
Hey,
Strange, I got this error 2 weeks ago when I did a complete reinstall of Oblivion and TES Mod manager. What I did was rebooting my PC a couple of times, and let TES Mod manager run as admin again. At a moment everything start working again. So really weird.
If it still does not work, you can try install the latest:
- Direct X
- Virtual Redist files
- Net.framework
Perhaps that will solve it

Re: Problem with Tes Mod Manager
I updated Net.Framework and everything was like before
+ I couldn't even start the game [error message said something about some extra information which should have been saved somewhere] on top of that my PC crashed
BUT : 3 hours later I started my PC again and when I opened the TES Mod Manager everything looked how it should I got no errors and I was able to start the game with no error message :3
The frustrating thing about it is at this point I got only 2 patches and obse installed and it took my 2 days
But I'll keep following your tutorial and hopefully I won't get errors anymore
What I'm trying to say : Thanks for the help
PS: I really enjoy watching your videos
Keep the great work up !

Re: Problem with Tes Mod Manager
Hey,
Good to hear it has been solved. (For now
I know, I had exact the same thing as you. After a reboot it suddenly all worked, and I was able to install all mods that day. (I already had all mods downloaded, so I only had to wait and do the .ini tweaks.)
For now you should be able to install the rest!
Oh btw as a tip, if you import a mod to create an OMOD for it, please check that you check the box that makes it version 2. (Omod v2 or something) 'Better Cities' mod gave me a texture error in game because I did not checked the box Omod v2. It took me quite a while to find out what was causing these weird texture errors.
Thanks for your compliment! really nice to hear that ^^ would you be so kind to introduce yourself on the introduction topic under general?

Re: Problem with Tes Mod Manager
Hey PredCaliber,
I followed the rest of your tutorial and got all the mods installed (and working)
I was quite impressed how good my PC handled it (in caves: ~50 FPS; outside: ~35-40 FPS)
I setted the FPS limit to 35, got rid of the motion blur and couldn't have been more satisfied
Even installed some creature mods and Midas Magic
If anyone knows a (working) mod that hides the HUD but not the menus (something like Gopher's iHUD) I would have erverything I need
would you be so kind to introduce yourself on the introduction topic under general?
- Yes, of course
