WHAT IS YOUR GAMING HISTORY?

​​Born in the mid/end 80’s, and playing my first game at the beginning of the 90’s, I started by playing a NES-based console called "Creation" which was my very first "own" experience with gaming (I played Atari before in friends' houses but didn't have it myself) Then I played games like Mario 1, Contra, Arkanoid, etc. My console after NES came tons of years later: PS1 where I came into contact with games like Silent Hill, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil and many others.

Before I bought PS1 I remember that my parents couldn't afford buying me a SNES but later on I could grab my hands on a 486 (66MHz, - 4 MB RAM - 2 MB videocard) being my first PC game: The Journeyman Project Turbo for Windows 3.1. I also played DOS games like The Lion King, Mortal Kombat 2, Megaman X1 and so on.

I upgraded that 486 into a Pentium 233 Mhz where I could play emulated games SNES and gameboy. Honestly, I used that PC until I burned it up xD but lucky me I grabbed a PS1 before that happened.

After that Pentium 233 I got an AMD, don't remember the processor but it used Socket 0, I could grab my hands on a AGP FX 5200 128 MB and played games like Lineage 2 (still play ) Resident Evil 4 (unfortunately I had to emulate pixel shader to max it out)

I still continued with AMD and this is the setup I used most of my time, with AM2+ socket, I had an AMD 3k black edition paired with an NVIDIA 7200GS which I later upgraded to an NVIDIA 8500GT, I played many games on that one, inclueded the unmodded Fallout 3 (18 fps wasteland ) Resident Evil 5, RPGs like The Last Remnant, Bioshock 1, Silent Hill Homecoming, Alan Wake, emulated PS2, pheeew these were great times. On the same motherboard I upgraded videocards the crazy way to ATI HD 4870 and then a GTX 780, I could get my hands on a Phenom II 945 3.0 GHz x4 which I used until all the setup died.

Screen: BenQ XL2420Z at 144 Hz and NVIDIA 3D Vision+kit v2.0
PSU: TT Evo Blue 2.0 800W (can be overclocked to 1000W)
Case: TT Urban S71

WHY DID YOU STICK TO PC GAMING ?

Better games, better exclusives, better graphics, better experience, modding, better community, steam, 4k, 60+ fps and I could continue all night.

WHEN DID YOU START MODDING?

I started modding 4 years ago, a friend of mine convinced me into it.

Generally I would say the PC but I also tend to really enjoy playing on 8 - 16 Bit Consoles. =P

Well first of all unfortunately a couple of weeks ago I had to reinstall my whole Windows from the scratch. Because of that I had to went through the trouble of setting my entire gameslibrary up again. As a consequence, I loooked at some of my games and thought to myself: Hmmm, could there be some way to improve my games in terms of grafic and so on? It wasn´t really much later after I hopped over one of PredCaliber´s great Tutorial Vid´s. So that´s the backstory. Right now I´m trying to mod my TES IV & V games. If it comes to playing games then at the moment I let myself getting gang raped in Dark Souls.
